Legacy Audio Projects
While the title of this page is “Legacy,” there isn’t a single word that can capture 40 years of eclectic audio projects. I’m hesitant to present some of these distant creations, many of which have been resurrected from old cassettes and DVD disks. Deep in the basement are boxes of recordings—some might pique your interest, while others might make you wonder, “What was he thinking?” Probably the latter.
You’ll find recordings from dimly lit bars on Friday nights and wild electronic experiments from the whims of a mushroom-influenced mind. There are tapes of a 16-note sequencer playing a Bach melody in an ancient cathedral and enchanting evening concerts on the deck with my lovely wife singing old jazz love songs. Our audience? The farm animals in the barn next door.
Revitalizing all these old recordings would take a second lifetime. So, on the following pages, I’ll share a few highlights and ask for your tolerance and patience.
